You can visit Zlatni Rat Beach, Stinac winery(some of the best wine in Croatia), Monestary or simply sit and enjoy a meal on the Riva. Hvar also has a ferry that takes about an hour and a half.

Could someone pleaseeeee shed some light! I did see there is a catamaran that goes from Split to Brac to Hvar. Is there any way to get from Hvar to Vis?

We are planning to visit 2 islands as day trip from Split ( on two separate days ). Probably the most usual route is the week-long trip around few major Central Dalmatian islands like Vis, Brac, Hvar, Solta, etc.

If you only have 10 days, you only have time for 1 island anyway at best. So Split is your springboard for either Vis, Brac or Hvar. Take your pick based on which island you prefer rather than which is more accessible. It is all very similar. Edited: 5 years ago

Vi ska bo i den lilla fiskebyn Komiza som ligger på andra  Det spelar ingen roll vilken du väljer – Hvar, Vis, Brac, Korcula – alla öar är lika fantastisk färgglada och vägen dit går via hamnen i Split. Den kanske mest  Segla- och dykutflykter i södra Kroatien.

Since I most definately do not want to stay in Hvar town, I have been looking at places to stay somewhere more quiet. But if nobody has good arguments for Brac or Hvar, I would still like some advise on where to stay in Vis. :-) Bol is not the best place to stay on Brac if you want quiet.
